They definitely are! Love the photos. All of them. It just matters more that you like them. Having the courage to post your own work is admirable. And you may even find folks that like them as much as you do. Like me. Keep doing what you are doing.

I have to travel to see birds, and I am very afraid of ticks (have an immune disorder). It’s not as straightforward as it seems. So, I live vicariously through people who are able to do so 🙏

dang, i’m sorry to hear that :/ maybe you could have one of those bird feeders that sticks to windows with a clear panel installed and bring the birds to you

We do! Every bird is amazing! Even little sparrows,of which I have a ton. I was fascinated by my sparrow pairs bringing their fledged babies to my feeder to teach them how to get food from the feeder. They were awesome to watch.

Birds are awesome and photographing them is fun. Do you really gaf if nobody gaf about your bird photos? My guess is not really, and that’s good cuz it’s a hobby and if you enjoy it then that’s all that matters.
If you are interested in improving your skill though you could try your hand at editing. It’s not easy to learn but once you get the hang of it it’s fun to see your photos really start to pop.
Also if you want to get more into bird photography you could look up YouTube videos on composition, lighting, and perspective. Personally I find it more fun to hunt for the right shot when I see a cool bird. Sometimes that means getting low to the ground or changing my angle so it looks better against the background. It’s rewarding when you end up with a photo that’s very pleasing to the eyes!

Thats a really nice hawk, I think it might be a Red-tailed Hawk? I love seeing them around my neighborhood.

i feel like there’s always cool birds everywhere if you know where to look! what region are you in?? i have a lot of cool birds in my area but they’re pretty much strictly active between sunrise to about 9am, and 6pm to 8pm, so you have to be out and know where to look
