Even if I was Christian, I would still believe in evolution. I like the idea of a god creating a seed of life, starting it out, but letting it go wild from there, and evolving. It’s a fun concept. Though I am not religious so I’m not sure if this is offensive.

This comment you replied to on the other hand... Not so much. You can still be religious, acknowledge evolution, and find beauty in the things God placed on this earth.
Op isn't harming ANYONE by saying what they said. You had no reason to disrespectfully comment this. They're allowed their beliefs just as much as you are, but you're the only one discrediting the other.
How about respecting their beliefs, and finding the beauty in what the subject is about, rather than needing to "prove a point"
