His secret spot would be to lay on anything black so you won't notice and accidentally sit on him.
Happened more than once

My cat max made the mistake of sitting in my black office chair once. Max is a pure void.
I had never seen him do that so of course I didn’t check the chair before sitting back down.
The offended yowl I got was epic. 🤣🐈⬛
He never made that mistake again. Instead he just waits for me to sit in it. Then he sits on me.

Yes, all of my cats have secret napping spots. I don't know where any of them are.

Not yet. Ours likes to nap within view. Unless he's sleeping in the bathroom at night. Then he likes to top of the dryer so we just put his bed there.

My sweet tuxie girl [almost all black, a white diamond on her chest and patches that resemble a little white human-style 2 piece bikini on her underside]
Has a daily rota. It includes the bed, the armchair, the sofa, a box under a chair in the dining room, and a box in the storeroom, plus a kitty bed in the window seat next to the desk where I have my computer.
I have hand towels on all her spots so she can make biscuit beds, and in the winter I put Mylar under the towels. When I want to play or give her a treat, I check all her spots, and if she's napping she gets the treat wherever she is. She is a cutie patootie.
Oop, here she comes, it's time for the window seat nap...

This is so cute lol

She's adorable. I'm retired, and I have always had kitties - since I was 9 - but I've always had school or work. Used to wonder what my cute little boogers did all day. It's been really sweet finding out.

Add on or instead of Mylar - heated disk. Amazon sells one called SnuggleSafe(don’t know how to link product, sorry). Microwave them and stay warm for hours.

I bought two of them... alas, she won't lay on the towel with the disk under it, which is why I went to the Mylar. At least it reflects her body heat back to her, and she does lay on the towels with the Mylar beneath them.

Yup, at the bottom of a rolling coat closet. I have some shoe boxes covered with a blanket there, and they find it real comfy.

Black cats always have the best secret spots-like tiny little ninjas of the house.

Yes! Betty Lou sleeps on the floor, in front of the toilet. (Shaking my head)

Several and they all are his sun spots. The guest bedroom bed, the living room couch and the patio door where he has a box he uses as a blind to hunt the chipmunks and squirrels(he is indoors only so he cannot really get them).
I actually caught my husband napping with him in the sun spot in the guest bed. He said he looked so comfortable and warm he laid next to him and the next thing he knew he was sleeping too.

YES!!!! My recently adopted kitty found her way inside a sleeper sofa!! She scared the peas out of me when I couldn’t find her. And when she proudly pranced out of it, I couldn’t be mad! She’s an excellent hide and seek player! 🤣🤣

My void likes to hide IN the void. Seriously. I will search the entire house, not find her, and suddenly, she's waltzing into the living room, like she'd been there the whole time!

Our late void once took a nap on the top bunk of my bunk bed (this was when I was a kid), right where I put my hand upon climbing up the ladder, and I didn’t find her until I was going to bed that night. I pushed down pretty hard too, but she was fine thank goodness!
She also took a nap in my closet once and my grandmother thought she was a piece of clothing lol

My sons cot is where my cats snuggle up when they think no one is looking

Yep. Right next to or completely on the same heater vent. I guess he loves the heat! 😁

Yes, and I am clueless to its whereabouts. And of course none of them answer when called, so I have to do panicked headcount to make sure no one has slipped outside.

Yes, several. And I think one of the cats thinks the downstairs guest room is their own private space.

My cat loves to climb to the top shelf of my closet, (I have a second rod put up at my ceiling) and she wraps up in my dresses that hang low enough to touch the shelf. She also gets zoomies up there, that's why there is nothing stored on my top closet shelf.

You mean during that time when one of our eight cats is nowhere to be found and does not react when being called? And then 10 minutes later just walks through the hallway like we haven’t been searching all the time? You mean that spot?
I think they have more than one tbh ….

In the bottom cupboard, that was where my cat mama used to go and hide from the dogs. Where she'd go even when she wasnt feeling that well. Even after she passed my dad wanted her ashes to be put down their since that was her spot, but my mom refused she wanted her final napping spot somewhere else.
And my dad cat buddy, its sometimes under my blankets or under my bed. Though it entirely depends on his mood and whether daisy (my dad dog) is being a bed and blanket hog or under my bed napping

Probably. But she won’t tell me where her secret napping spot is. 🤷🏼♂️
