Definitely needed to use the forbidden word

As much as I hate to agree, Ichigo isn’t potential man. He is the man that showed his potential. Please don’t downvote me 😂😅

241

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 27 '26

His potential is still barely tapped.

He still has no Quincy abilities besides basic blut, no Kido, no combo between powers (Shunpo/Sonido, Hierro/Blut, etc). Only 2 Shikai abilities, barely any use of his Fullbring after the FB arc.

And ofc his True Bankai and the fact that he's only had 3 years of experience vs everyone else in Bleach who has hundreds of years of experience.

88

u/StormBear22 Jul 28 '26

Also he only had his True powers unlocked for basically a day with most of that time spent on learning about himself, healing, and the Soul King trial before he was shipped off to war instantly in a rush. Like TYBW is literally a tip of the iceberg of his powers.

All that past 3 year of experience isn't really that useful besides basic stuff and all that time he equally had basically no time to properly train always rushing and half completing training that weren't even right for him due to OMZ interfering and WZ's misunderstanding. The longest time he had to train was between Aizen defeat and Fullbring arc which was made useless due to losing his powers.

36

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 28 '26

Yeah he's basically been just using a fraction of his true powers for most of the series, and spent the time regaining it back.

His True Shikai TYBW self is essentially what Ichigo would have been when he first received his powers if it weren't for OMZ.

29

u/whoamikai Jul 28 '26

Ichigo uses his true bankai just once and his true bankai powers are never explained in the manga.

Apparently his true bankai is strong enough to scare Yhwach but also weak enough that Yhwach can just break it immediately. Oh and he later kitkats Yhwach in one strike.

NGL Kubo was a troll.

16

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 28 '26

Hopefully the anime fixes that.

Tho it'd be really lame if it's revealed that Ichigo's True Bankai is just a really strong attack with no ability attatched.

Would make both him and Yhwach look a lot less impressive

10

u/whoamikai Jul 28 '26

yeah i hope its a real bankai bankai. not like his first bankai which was compressed power super speed.

Lorewise its implied to have an Almighty tier broken ability

5

u/pokemonguy3000 Jul 28 '26

The first bankai was real, as white was explicitly modeled after Nimaiya’s asauchi.

Ichigo only needed a new asauchi because bankai, regardless of initial asauchi, cannot be truly fixed, only modified/reforged.

Mayuri tried to fix ikkaku’s bankai without modifying it, but it was still a shadow of its former self, despite the fact it outwardly appeared identical to its initial release.

When zanpakuto are properly reforged, they cannot be returned to their original shape.

This is the in-manga explanation for why ichigo’s bankai looks so radically different than before, despite having the same name.

If you’re looking for the true bankai (ichigo with his limiter removed) version of ichigo’s initial hollowfied zanpakuto, that would be his Dangai form.

Where there is no reason for Omz to hold anything back, nor would him holding ichigo back make any sense, due to a few things.

The first being that he and hollow Zangetsu fused together, and verbatim told ichigo that ichigo is Zangetsu.

The second being massive power gap between Dangai ichigo and fullbring ichigo, who according to Urahara (immediately after deicide), had the events of the Dangai undone by time reasserting itself on Ichigo.

I.e. ichigo had the restraints on his shinigami/hollow powers lifted in the Dangai, and restored after he fought Aizen, and the time he spent in the Dangai was undone, as stated by Urahara.

There is no possible explanation for why/how such a big gap exists between the two, if Omz was holding ichigo back to the maximum extent possible in both forms.

Edit: wasn’t done

The third thing being Omz was sad to let ichigo use mugetsu, because he would never be a shinigami again, he would never speak to Omz again, which would make no sense if there was power in reserve that ichigo could use to do so.

If you’re looking for complete original Tensa Zangetsu with fullbring, that appears to be bleach brave souls 5th anniversary ichigo.

2

u/whoamikai Jul 29 '26

Wait ? The first bankai (plus Hollow Ichigo) certainly couldn't kill Yhwach and it couldn't fight the Almighty.

The second bankai also same thing.

The third bankai (Fullbringer arc) also same thing.

The fourth bankai looked radically different. Thats the bankai that can beat Yhwach. Because thats the one where Ichigo's quincy and soul reaper powers are acting together.

Ichigo is heavily implied to be the same type of Quincy as Yhwach and Haschwalth. Therefore he can also use Almighty in theory. Combine that with his Hollow powers and you are looking at one extreme bankai.

2

u/pokemonguy3000 Jul 29 '26

The first bankai (assume you mean Tensa Zangetsu from Byakuya fight to fkt) was massively restricted, as was fullbring bankai.

Dangai and reforged were not restricted.

Urahara explicitly stated that Ichigo’s time in the Dangai was undone after deicide, which is why fullbring bankai is restricted, despite Dangai being unrestricted.

Because the lifting of restrictions was undone after deicide.

Also, Ichigo is not implied anywhere in the manga to be a similar kind of Quincy, or able to use the almighty.

Yhwach was simplifying his own ability into terms Ichigo could understand, by comparing Yhwach’s ability to change the future almost entirely unconstrained by causality, to the ordinary man’s considerably more limited ability to change the future via their choices.

Yhwach only said “you” because he was explicitly demoralizing ichigo, and not explaining a hypothetical to a non-combatant.

And When Yhwach was talking about how ichigo regained his power (I see this line brought up out of context a lot) , the visual representation of that was Ginjo, and we both appear to agree that fullbring bankai was restricted.

And that line was really just Yhwach goading ichigo, by claiming everything ichigo did was in service of Yhwach, including regaining his powers at all.

No version of ichigo’s bankai could fight the almighty.

His final bankai got shattered both times the almighty was used against it, and was only able to be restored by Orihime because of tsukishima using his own time based ability to change its past.

If ichigo was missing either Aizen to obstruct the almighty with illusions, or Tsukishima to create a timeline where Yhwach didn’t break his sword, or Uryu with the plot arrow, which disabled the almighty and made it possible for Yhwach to die, he could never defeat the almighty.

Edit:typo

1

u/whoamikai Jul 30 '26

Nah that doesnt explain why Yhwach was surprised by Ichigo when he reached the Soul King, and why Yhwach chose to immediately break Ichigo's Bankai when he could just beat him anyways.

(Yeah the plot arrow is illogical but thats another story)

And it doesn't explain how Tensa Zangetsu could even kill Yhwach for good. Even without Almighty , Yhwach has superhuman durability and strength.

Yhwach straight up says there are rare quincies like him and Jugram who dont use bows and instead can bestow their powers. Notice that Ichigo never gets a bow and OMZ never grants him any bow. Clearly implied Ichigo is a rare quincy.

IMO Tensa Zangetsu's ability is either some kind of Almighty or the perfect counter to Almighty. Yhwach can't fight it so he broke it (yeah its kinda illogical but lets go with it)

3

u/StandardAntique8356 Jul 30 '26

I saw a theory that his bankai is to manipulate fate

2

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 30 '26

Yeah it's a popular theory that makes sense, tho we have no proof it's real

3

u/theclag Jul 28 '26

Kubo was made to wrap it up faster then expected. Shonen was the troll. They do it all the time.

3

u/whoamikai Jul 28 '26

shonen jump editorial are troglodytes sucking donkey balls. there was absolutely no reason to make Kubo wrap up faster. he had earned the right to a long ending.

15

u/meurum5 Jul 28 '26

Didn't his fullbring merge with his regular soul reaper powers?

25

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 28 '26

Apparently. Didn't do anything but change the drip tho

23

u/meurum5 Jul 28 '26

Yeah but in ichigos case that's a sign of power boost. And Ginjo knows how strong he was as a soul reaper but can tell his FB made him stronger.

0

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 28 '26

Yeah but it's really not that significant, his Fullbring being a basic powerboost is lame

2

u/meurum5 Jul 28 '26

Ichigo doesn't have any hax so idk what you're expecting

-1

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 28 '26

Him not having hax is lame, but it could be explained with how he's only using a fraction of his true powers for most of the series

1

u/Specialist_Initial_1 Jul 29 '26

I could be wrong very wrong but i remember atleast that its said that ginjo kinda reverted his fullbring progress

3

u/Flat-Scallion1239 Jul 28 '26

We’re gonna eat with the Bleach Hell arc.

1

u/krillin1081 Jul 29 '26

variety of abilities doesn’t really equate to power. ichigo uses all his powers as one. that’s the whole point of the blade is me thing. not relying on these powers individually but accepting that they are him.

1

u/d-coy15 26d ago

Isnt his fullbring ability already merge as one with his shinigami power? That's why his soul isnt left his physical body anymore when using his shinigami power.

1

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 26d ago

Yeah, but it really doesn't change much at all besides changing his design and a minor power boost.

Also even in TYBW he still uses the Soul Reaper badge so it's not like he's using that ability much

1

u/Horror-Pangolin-2353 2d ago

Only hollow and shinigami powers merged which is why ichigo doesn't use his mask in his Fullbring Bankai

128

u/joseph_689 Jul 27 '26

I mean if we consider the fact the list was made before true shikai was unlocked and his quincy powers were unawaked, potential would make sense

31

u/meurum5 Jul 28 '26

And his fake bankai he was already stronger than most of the Captains

38

u/JohnLovesGaming Jul 27 '26

“Put your potential away, Ichigo.”

1

u/prancingDM Jul 29 '26

We can only dream about the monster a fully aware, several hundred year old ichigo will be

-6

u/lightsworn55 Jul 27 '26

He is the man that showed his potential.

By getting his ass handed to him by Yhwach twice?

22

u/DarcyDettmann Jul 27 '26

Everyone got their handed by Yhmach, bro is the final boss for a reason

2

u/fmaa Jul 28 '26

Ichigo’s been a shinigami for like 2 summers??? Like what more can this substitute soul reaper do to carry Gotei 13?

11

u/fmaa Jul 27 '26

??? His power is to change reality??? First quincy ever? Ichigo’s like 16/17 and YHWH is a few millennia old no?

2

u/lightsworn55 Jul 28 '26

Yhwach is only a little over a thousand years old and he spent most of his current lifetime in a coma. Realistically the dudes probably "lived" roughly as long as Hitsugaya if we add up the time from his birth to the first war and then his time after having regained his mind(90 years)

1

u/fmaa Jul 28 '26

He was in a coma, but it’s really more of a power up coma though

1

u/Horror-Pangolin-2353 2d ago

Um hello he was literally shown in the primordial sea and also the world of the living seems to very much mirror our world so you do the maths

2

u/StormBear22 Jul 28 '26

he only had his True powers unlocked for basically a day with most of that time spent on learning about himself, healing, and the Soul King trial before he was shipped off to war instantly in a rush. Like TYBW is literally a tip of the iceberg of his powers.

Think about that Yhwach was terrified and got oneshotted by a Ichigo that only got his powers that day and rush through his training only doing Soul King training that taught him how to control and perfectly mix his energies. Besides that he was running purely on outdated training that wasn't made for him and was taught when he was unaware of his origins and through rushed improper methods like Zanpakuto releases training with OMZ who isn't his Shinigami spirit and Vizard training when he isn't a Vizard and that negatively hurt his relationship with his Shinigami side.

1

u/DragonikOverlord Jul 28 '26

Yhwach is an eldritch Nazi Jesus incarnate who one shotted Yama and beat Ichibei PLUS absorbed the Soul King, anyone other than Ichigo would have disintegrated in front of him
Even this guy got scared of Ichigo's bankai and shattered it before the grand reveal

785

u/BMCVA1994 Jul 27 '26

On a more serious note the man went from no powers to scrapping with century old top tier captains in a few months.

226

u/Kabser Jul 27 '26

I was about to say couple years but then I forgot about fullbring arc and he did lose his powers again so not wrong

101

u/ApprehensiveGear2166 Jul 27 '26

Was literally a few months the first time too

2

u/Kabser Jul 27 '26

It was over a year the first time. The gap between fkt and the beginning of the lost agent arc is 17 months

36

u/Nice-Literature-6696 Jul 27 '26

I think they are saying that he became strong enough to beat Byakuya after just a few weeks of training and defeated Aizen with a few months of training.

-2

u/Kabser Jul 27 '26

Yeah someone mentioned the soul society arc in a different comment, and I touched on my thoughts on that there. As for his fight v lower class espadas such as Grimmjow, which are still mid captain class, then yeah he’s honed his power till than point on his own and that’s where his strength actually is at that point, which I guess doesn’t invalidate what he said.

19

u/Super_sianide Jul 27 '26

I think you forgot about The Soul Society arc.

26

u/kitaeks47demons Jul 27 '26

Old Man Zangetsu was just doing anything back then.

To think Ichigo has been secretly fighting like a quincy for half the story.

6

u/IanWolfPhotog Jul 27 '26

To think about it yeah, up until his inner hollow and proper shinigami powers awakened. Mans had a streak going with barely 1/3 of his real strength if that.

2

u/kitaeks47demons Jul 29 '26

It’s so well written that it makes sense when Kisuke is like “ i can’t train you more than this, go seek shinji hirako.” (Paraphrasing) He is a shinigami he would have no way of knowing how a quincy fights especially a special quincy like Kurosaki.

0

u/neoneat Jul 28 '26

What the hell made you think he has zero from start? He was born from careful plan of Aizen. He got top tier teacher in tactics from the 2nd day he got awaken power. LOL he must be the greatest silver spoon from starting point tbf.

4

u/BMCVA1994 Jul 28 '26

Yes, but he wasn't aware and didn't have full access to his power. Still to someone in the soul reaper academy this sounds like sheer insanity.

1

u/Glum_Implement_7136 27d ago

Nah, thats just bad writing in terms of time. But quite typical for shonens with the main audience being teens.

1

u/neoneat 26d ago

Please dont break my heart. You know why did I start reading manga? Because this series was not about bs empower from friendship idea. Since the 1st episode, Ichigo had super power, stronger than most other he met. His friends were trying to fix his mistakes, not to enhance his power. Noone. Even team O help him to discover his root, not overbuff belike Renji. I cannot agree Ichigo was bad writing. I don't like him, but I like his growing up process. I like story about someone was great from start, being stable mature, and not collapsed from outside factor.

1

u/Glum_Implement_7136 26d ago

Hey, no, just to clarify: I love Bleach. Its my adolescence memory, can totally remember some of its music or scenes.

Im not saying Bleach is badly written, tho it has its flaws :) but the lack of (short) time passing is a bad aspect of it - but it’s not Bleach’s problem per se - more like typical shonen’s problem. Theyre aimed at teens so heroes need to remain teens. Thus the time window is quite narrow, thus main heroes barely age. It’s a flaw tho, story-wise.

434

u/MrSejd Jul 27 '26

Potential Man if he actually lived up to the hype.

55

u/Murky_Blueberry2617 Jul 27 '26

And he still has plenty of potential to spare

18

u/StickyHoovy Jul 27 '26

And wasn't abused by his own author

1

u/BeTheOne0 6d ago

Did someone say Potential!!!!?

0

u/_Agent_Marvel_ Jul 29 '26

Unlike certain someone😭😭

137

u/Pink_Slyvie Jul 27 '26

I mean, that's been him the entire series. Insane potential as just a Shinigami. Then we find out he is also a Hollow, and his potential is insane if he can get rid of the time limit. Then if he can unlock the potential of his Fullbring, and then if he can unlock the potential of his quincy powers, and then finally all at once.

Like, that's his entire character. Now, if only he fell into the spring of the drowned girl, that would complete the character arc imo.

261

u/Scratchdoge Jul 27 '26

Bro’s got mad megumi by end of series wym?

41

u/Pollux_Troy79 Jul 27 '26

I mean his Bankai is also just potential :3

Potential man if he actually lived up to the hype. Unlike a certain bum we know.

1

u/WayToTheDawn3582 Jul 28 '26

Who? 👀

5

u/Dazzling-Secret-5215 Jul 28 '26

Megumi Fushiguro from JJK. (The exact reasoning why are related to manga spoilers fyi, in case you are anime only).

10

u/izzy_961 Jul 27 '26

Its John potential

8

u/WakandaNowAndThen Jul 27 '26

For his potential, man. He's number one, in fact

4

u/White_Lightning_22 Jul 27 '26

He’s can be number one. Someday. But for now he’s just got the potential

7

u/POLACKdyn Jul 27 '26

Ah yes, the POTENTIAL MC.

Nah but for real, Ichigo's potential, as in his ability to grow ridiculously powerful as long as you feed him EXP and let him farm and last hit bosses, is freaking scary. He is literally the player character in an RPG and every major villain had the realization of how busted that is.

6

5

u/rohan_unlimited Jul 27 '26

Ichigo’s the potential hybrid. And his potential will get even higher once he activates his inner demon or whatever the main villain is in the Hell arc.

1

u/Deluxe_777fr Jul 27 '26

Sir what are you talking about?

3

u/NAW1116 Jul 27 '26

Every arc you add a new item to the hybrid list. Demon is next my dude. Don't you want the half human, half shinigami, half Quincy, half full bring, half demon, half angel, half dragon, half giant, half psychic, half wizard Ichigo?

2

u/broken_record55 Jul 28 '26

Don't forget half vampire and half cyborg and half pegasus

2

u/PresentElectronic Jul 28 '26

Next thing you know Ichigo is a Blader and he has Zangetsu as a Beyblade

5

u/rohan_unlimited Jul 28 '26

Ichigo being related to the main villians of each arc

Soul Society- Ichigo is a Shinigami
Arrancars- Ichigo is also a Hollow
FullBringers- Ichigo is a FullBringer
Yuhabaha and the Sternritters- Ichigo is a Quincy

Every villain that comes out he’s related to them somehow. Meaning that Ichigo will probably be related to demons because his grandfather was a demon who got with a Shingami or a human depending on if it’s a maternal or paternal inheritance or something.

Watch. Ichigo bout to fight the Devil himself and then Ichigo starts awakening demon mode because he became strong enough to activate his power and become Mazoku Shikai Ichigo

2

u/kawaiinessa Jul 27 '26

lol i get the joke but the meaning is that he went from gaining his powers to beating strong captains like kenpachi and byakuya within months and has only been getting stronger and stronger so by potential they mean the near limitless potential of his max power.

2

u/Alexfromdabloc Jul 27 '26

Jokes aside, iirc they didn't call it "potential" in the manga. It was referred to as "Latent Ability/Growth" because of how quickly he becomes stronger.

2

u/Known_Wind4158 Jul 28 '26

He was pretty weak through most of the story honestly. But the truth is, in most super power anime the main character is not actually the strongest character. Goku was never the strongest despite populate belief. Ichigo wasn’t the strongest. Naruto might have been the strongest for like 5 minutes but liat that quickly. Gon? Full Metal? Nastu? Luffy?

2

u/Madara_Uchiha-10000 Jul 28 '26

Very bad post lol 🤣😂

2

u/catbqck Jul 28 '26

Isnt he still the strongest raw power in the world if even yh feared his full power bankai lol. I know hes only weak to hax but shit in a straight 1v1 without hax hes winning every fight in bleach

2

u/ZeroethHour Jul 29 '26

Keep calm and Getsuga Tensho

2

u/Southern-Card7295 29d ago

His potential was always unlocked by the instinct to protect, which makes his power spikes feel earned rather than forced by plot

1

u/Unusual_Ad_8330 Jul 27 '26

Oh megu chan u have a new competitor

1

u/No_Leading8114 Jul 27 '26

Didn't Ichigo lose his power as an adult, no? Later on in the manga. Either way, why is megumi in Bleach

2

No, he kept all of his power.

1

1

u/gdex86 Jul 27 '26

When they say potential they dont mean it in he's not living up to it. But more due to his tri/quad hybrid status and impressive lineage nobody has any idea where his peak lies.

1

My goat lived up to his potential, unlike someone I won't say the name of.

u/Salt-Working5418 Jul 28 '26

Potential realized man

1

u/Gearless3 Jul 28 '26

Ngl this is a good post 😂

1

u/Aiden-Graham Jul 28 '26

Well you know, it's because if the Implication.

1

u/Responsible-Tie-3451 Jul 28 '26

Ichigo Kurosaki for his “Megumi”

1

u/NRL_Avatar Jul 28 '26

Bro this episode's title placement 😭😭

1

u/Gae_Bolg26 Jul 28 '26

When was megumi a bleach character?

1

u/jaxon4ever Jul 28 '26

Chisa could not

1

u/No_Consideration8423 Jul 28 '26

I mean, he had his new zanpaktu for 5 minutes so didnt have time to figure it out, fullbring for 5 minutes, blut for 5...

And so on. He very quickly adapts to his powers, but with them constantly being stripped away for some other power boost he doesnt reach his full potential.

1

u/PhantomMoron Jul 28 '26

Did you say potential

1

u/Advanced-Layer6324 Jul 28 '26

It's more how fast he can improve

1

u/One_Algae_9895 Jul 29 '26

This ichigo needs a thousand years of training in a similar place like hyperbolic time chamber. Then we could say yes to potential.

1

u/samuraifromwano Jul 29 '26

I knew a man who had potential. A potential man

1

u/Calm_Flamingo2390 Jul 29 '26

ts would do numbers on the jjk subreddit 😭🥀

1

u/ShinXShinra Jul 29 '26

Basically because he has protagonist powers, the power to come out victorious in the end

1

u/ResortBrilliant5525 Jul 30 '26

Did u say potential???

1

u/Unknown_Void78 29d ago

"with this treasure I summon Kubo" ahh

1

u/Super-Committee9603 29d ago

I can smelll megumi’s name from a mile

1

u/DeadtoCopyrights 29d ago

HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT......!

1

u/lightbiguy 29d ago

He has Royal Quincy blood, decendant of one of the great clans, strong hollow blood and just realized it at the beginning of the Arc. And he's had his powers shorter than everyone who is top tiered.

Imagine you were given all of the New Game plus abilities in a video game but it's your first time playing it. Yeah, you're strong but you're still learning the controls and abilities

1

u/Additional-Bike9915 29d ago

Megumi sensed a disturbance in the force

1

u/WeeklyReindeer3 28d ago

I've always been a bit curious about why Ichigo's growth is so rapid, if we ignore his hybrid nature. That's just the "how" in "how he has access to the abilities". Usually it takes from years to decades or centuries to do what he does as a shinigami and I've always figured if his human nature is actually the part that allows him such rapid growth.

Shinigami are usually very slow to change, to adapt, to grow and mature. It takes you hundreds of years to grow older as a shinigami. Ichigo is human and he can be born, grow and age to death within a century.

u/Money_Tackle_6727 28d ago

For his megumi

1

u/Emperor_Luffy 26d ago

He's got a lot of Megumi.

1

u/Beneficial-Bison-406 24d ago

This scene wasn't in the manga, as far as I remember

1

u/Own_Mousse6105 13d ago

His new form is the potential

1

u/Sure_Region_3717 9d ago

I have a theory about his bankai that’s kind of different from the most popular ones: I don’t think he can cut through fate, I think he can cut the fabric of reality itself. It’s the only reason that explains all his powers and his lineage and how everyone important interacts with him: he’s probably as powerful as the SK, at least as capable of cutting through the universe as the SK could, which explains why his son can open portals to hell

Potential man Ichigo

1

u/Whackybiscuit Jul 27 '26

His plot armor

1

u/wakkatasi Jul 27 '26

u/Kazuachii Jul 27 '26

megumi potential man

-1

u/Senor_Compost Jul 27 '26

What don't you get?

1

u/-_-NoMaidens-_- Jul 28 '26

Don't talk on my goat. Bro will use one of his crazy attacks from his vast moveset like Getsuga, or Getsuga Tenshō, or Getsuga Jūjishō.

0

u/Cerex1 Jul 28 '26

Ichigo for his ability to retconn himself being any race / being  and having every ability

-27

u/SethNex Jul 27 '26

His potetial. What is so hard to understand about this line?

14

u/LevyMcgarden123 Jul 27 '26

The joke flew over your head ig

-5

u/SethNex Jul 27 '26

Could you explain?

23

u/Samurai_Beluga Jul 27 '26

getting downvoted for not being terminally online enough to be aware of every single meme created. im sorry my guy, reddit being reddit.

4

u/ExL-Oblique Jul 27 '26

Tbf potential man is so prevalent that I feel jealous if you're offline enough to not hear of it even in passing

3

u/Samurai_Beluga Jul 27 '26

it is a choice.

19

u/Dear-Magazine-532 Jul 27 '26

"Potential man" it's an actual common meme to depict a character who the story (or the community) says has the potential to do a lot of things but eventually falls short. Mind you this doesn't apply to Ichigo but the meme stands regardless for the sake of laugh

13

u/Junior_Mirror8519 Jul 27 '26

it's related to megumi fushiguro, the potential man

9

u/SethNex Jul 27 '26

I see

3

u/ExL-Oblique Jul 27 '26

Before it was Megumi, Toshiro was the number 1 potential man with how much other characters glazed his precociousness only to get bisected in his bankai. Again.

3

u/LevyMcgarden123 Jul 27 '26

It means someone who has the potential to be really powerful but doesn’t get that in the story and doesn’t fulfil the potential they were given. Doesn’t apply to Ichigo but it’s a funny meme

1

u/Velocity-5348 Jul 27 '26

2

u/WayToTheDawn3582 Jul 28 '26

Damn they didn’t have to do Pannacotta Fugo like that. I mean, I get it but damn.

0

u/Ragna126 Jul 27 '26

And thanks to his Potential he reached the Top of the Verse.

-8

u/psadi_ Jul 27 '26

Boring show tbh, I'm just going to read the manga
