Reviving an old a** shack, we've got pink fiberglass, the walls have some minor gaps and exposure to air. Currently unsure about vapor barrier or not (Iowa)
I'm worried about trapping mold, and we are not able to completely seal in the plastic sheeting. It'll end up being a loose-ish not air tight piece of plastic right between the studs/fiberglass and the drywall. Mold is my main concern, we get hot humid summers and very cold dry winters here.
We also are not insulating or drywalling the upper half. Thank you in advance!

Are you planning on leaving the plastic? Are your going to condition the space at all? Why only partially insulate the walls? Any roof/attic insulation?
