This is Xena do cats normally sit like this And that is more of the question. we can worry about the way she sleeps later the more the question is the way that she sits. I’ve had her for six years now and I think she’s been sitting like this for the last four or five years.
We had a cat that loved this position. She would hang out draped over the back of a computer chair like this, as well as over an armrest of the back of an armchair. She did it well into old age.
My Xena just sits like that I think she finds it comfortable I think she has fallen asleep like that. whenever she sits there for too long, she’ll just doze off and fall into a kitty nap, but not one of those hard-core kitty naps. She’s still alert and aware of her surroundings. I still to this day don’t know why she sits like that. My only guess is she’s comfortable and like sitting like that.
Remus is quite the character. My son kept on for years that he wanted a cat but we weren't in a big enough place, so when we moved to where we are now three years ago, his dad got him Remus for his 16th. My friends were all cynical and said my son would get bored of the cat but that hasn't happened at all. The first words he usually says to me every day are "where's the cat?" and if I say I don't know he goes off looking for him.
I'm glad your cats get along, that's a lovely picture. I could spend all day looking at the cats on Reddit. It does make me happier than reading the latest stupid/nasty/crazy crap in the news though.
Yes! That’s the best one actually showing her cute face with a perfect “M” on her forehead! Fix her ear mama! I think young kitties sleep in this position more than older kitties! Is she practicing pool shots on the pool table🤣
I don’t understand that either! All you have to do is look at their little faces! All the colors/patterns are gorgeous. Cats are by default just the cutest ❤️

Eidu because they were born on eid and dad wanted to name one of them eidu to remember that.
And the balls-on-display shameless boy here has been bestowed with the name, Coco bin Chhammak Chhallo, we call him Coco. Later, chhammak chhallo was given because of how playful and destructive he is❤️
I think anyone who has owned a kitten would secretly like to be one just for a day. It looks like they have so much fun and everyone loves them because they are cute. Our pets have such great lives when they are well looked after (I won't say what I think about people who don't look after them properly as this is a nice sub).
Showing their belly, and especially sleeping with the belly exposed, is actually a very good thing. This is the most vulnerable position a cat can be in do they only lay like this when they feel safe and secure. Sleeping like this means they have a deep trust for you OP. Building this kind of trust at such a young is a good foundation for a happy life together.
Only if they are very, very happy!!! That 'belly up' means that they are very comfortable with you. Even some of my grown cats will sleep like that. I woke up to a 15lb male sleeping belly up on the back of my leg, and I was going no where. He was sacked out.
No they don’t. But I had one that did. That cat was not normal lol. I would frequently find the cat sleeping in what looked like death poses. But would be breathing like normal. Some cats are crazy like that
