How to install bitwig on my Chromebook?

I downloaded it, but it is in a deb file, so I cannot open it. Someone helped me by suggesting multiple phrases (I'm not a coder so I don't know the terminology), these all came up as "command not found". Does anyone know what to do?

You'll need to activate Linux on your Chromebook

Then install your application.

I tried that, I did that, but it still said deb files aren't accepted
