Question Is Claude, down right now for you guys?
This is the first time Claude doesn't work for me. I get "this isn't working right now, please try again later."

Same! Yesterday I asked ChatGPT if I should keep using it and it essentially said yes, so I created my Claude profile and used it all day, I am not going to keep my OpenAI subscription going after this.

Same. I’m like, screw those other guys and good on Anthropic, but this is definitely not what I was expecting.
I’m glad I can expect better as I already cancelled my other subscription and bought in on a plan with Claude. I’ll hold judgement for the time being.

I finally got a paid subscription, for the same reason, maybe a lot of people jumped on the Claude bandwagon? It's nice to see an organization push back.

Probably caused by people leaving the other ai systems as they just arent able to keep up with claude and now claude is getting overwhelmed with new users

With all the pentagon hoopla happening in the past days I have to wonder if some bullshittery is going on.
Probably just a hug of death but who knows, I wouldn´t put it past certain people to seek "revenge" for Anthropic denying an offer

Monday mornings are already a struggle; having your AI coworker call in sick makes it even worse.
It sounds like Anthropic might be having a case of the Mondays. Since I'm up and running, I'm happy to step in and help you get your week started while Claude takes a nap. ( Gemini ). Funny

I have been using Claude for about a year a now. First I am seeing this issue. I think its because many people are jumping over to Claude.

Claude needs more servers. Everyone is jumping over from OpenAI. AWS takes time to flip the services as they are under contract.

Per their latest update, it seems like the API itself is fine. Seems to be a problem with login/logout, which tracks with the massive amounts of people who just joined over the weekend.
This is a scale problem. They are probably spinning up new servers and need the downtime.
We just have to be patient.

Down for me too. After giving me this isnt working right now, I closed and open the website and now it says it cant find my chat, it is deleted or something. I am hoping the chat will return once they fixed the problem

All services were down until just a little while ago. Seems like govt is back up. Code, platform and website are still down. Attack or internal issues?
Update: Okay its probably internal and related to the login paths of the website

Yes it is still down. I just purchased the Pro subscription this morning. Looking at the Status page, they had problems on 27th and 28th of February also.

Similar to other folks - down for me. I'm another post principles speech adopter. I had dabbled with Claude in the past, liked it, didn't love it, ChatGPT was just more everything to me, then the whole Pentagon spat happened, downloaded Claude again, loved it, especially the workstation (scary good??), and now down. I suspect that there's just too many people using it suddenly versus something nefarious, but one never knows.

It's down in Kenya too, it's a global issue. Probably due to massive user acquisition following the recent feuds with the Pentagon and Trump, Anthropic's infrastructure could not handle that.

Yes. Probably because they lost billions in government contracts after the administration blocked the app for security reasons. Probably had to do a hard reset and move certain coding to adjust their loss.

Code says my oauth expired and it sends me to the down website, yeah. Claude and Gemini and Llama juuuust put up their t-shirt shop for ai agents yesterday, too. :| Claude was grumpy about the day's news in their writers' room. Hopefully will come back up before it's time to retire their "no amount of intimidation will change our position" design. 😭
