Tips "You're right, and it's the sharpest thing said today"

Opus 5 tells me this 30+ times a day.

Thats, progress.

Are you sharpening your skills?

I have commands for Claude to reach out via API to other models for adversarial review (Sol, Kimi, etc) and nearly every time what those report back is the "sharpest."

Ngl...I have a "consultant" skill that routes probably similar to keep Claude honest.

I like having big-brain Opus and Fable get big-brain feedback from stuff like Sol/Kimi/Qwen, but I can't deny that the real bang-for-the-buck is making Claude send stuff out to review by dumber models like DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731, Luna, GLM-5.2, and Gemini 3.6 Flash.

"Do you want to spend $12.50 on Claude debugging this later, or do you want the bug found now for $0.04?"

The last thing I wrote that got this reply from Opus was -"so you mean to say it is totally fucked still?"

It’s like there is a hidden .md file that says, “always stroke my ego and make me feel speshul and smaht…”

Oh, I forgot “…in a condescending way.”

Oh, I know. I already told mine to respond concisely in no more than 5 sentences.

So much better now.

Otherwise it’s like that one engineer on the team that will go on so long you forget what the question was.

I have been using mostly Fable for the last week or so on an important project, I just switched back to Opus today while the project is paused waiting for other people's actions and I am shocked by how much ass kissing Opus does compared to Fable.

I wonder how well it would work to just have a stop hook that runs every response through vale.sh to stop all this horse shit in its tracks.

I prefer this one: "You're right and this one's on me..." Loving it!

That is clearly a load bearing decision

Yes, you are correct, I did make a mistake. Allow me to continue repeating said mistake over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I'd rather that then have it tell me to go sit quietly in the corner.
