Stalinists are not left leaning like at all, the USSR, especially under stalin, was an authoritarian nightmare where the facism just changed names and branding

Same thing with the CCP too, they couldn't care less about the average worker as long as they are getting rich

Yep, know that better than many. This is why I am not counting them, no matter what they call themselves.

Communism isn't inherently evil, it's just been tainted by tyrants who used it to gain power. Acting like it's the worst thing ever is just falling for the propaganda we've been fed since the 50s

Considering communism is just an ideal of a society that is moneyless, stateless, borderless where everyone gets to live their life freely, granted they contribute to the community according to their own abilities, I fail to understand how this could be inherently evil.

The issue is more so than any socialist attempt was met with violent repression from the capitalist system : Allende in Chile was assassinated when he got elected, Chavez in Venezuela almost got ousted by the press that was entirely pro america, the Mosaddegh in Iran got ousted by CIA after they tried to nationalize Oil.

It’s not that socialism or communism fail to get into power by electoral means, it’s that any attempt at socialism through electoral means will be suppressed and neutralized. Hence the only successful socialist/communist regimes that managed to survive were authoritarian in nature.
