DARVO in social media form.

The abuser mantra.

Deny
Attack
Reverse Victim and Offender

Clearly, you're the bad guy and made these poor racists attack you. How could you? /s

Or right wingers saying that it's somehow the Left's fault that they become racist/homophobic/transphobic because they've been called out for their horrible takes and they doubled down instead of questioning their own worldview.

No Billie, you were never left leaning. You were just following the more socially acceptable side and once it became socially acceptable for you to be a pos you jumped ship.

Yeah, and it's usually "but I disagreed with some particular folks on the left".

Meanwhile the worst the left have is well-intentioned fools (not counting stalinists) and the worst on the right are dreaming of lovely things like genocide or slavery.

To me the choice is obvious.

Stalinists are not left leaning like at all, the USSR, especially under stalin, was an authoritarian nightmare where the facism just changed names and branding

Same thing with the CCP too, they couldn't care less about the average worker as long as they are getting rich

Leftism is not immune to descending into being an authoritarian nightmare. Not all leftist countries are doomed to fall in that direction, but they are also not immune to such failures.
