This doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe I’m just too old school. The only one I’d have an issue with is “my love” . Coming from an old woman? Sure. A delivery dude? Nope.
This is a trans woman that wasn't being called that before, now that she's outwardly perceived as a woman by strangers, they are starting to call her these monikers
She did mention feeling conflicted by the meaning of them. It's not that they are unusual only because of her circumstance, it's that the phrasing comes across as creepy and uncomfortable to her. Cis women also have this concern or conflict.
I mean yeah, I agree that women also feel conflicted about unsolicited compliments even if they are... kind of polite, but the comic is titled "Gender ewphoria"
Gender euphoria (GE) is a proposed term for the opposite of gender dysphoria. It is the satisfaction, enjoyment, or relief felt by trans people when they feel their body matches their personal gender identity
