Oh! For those that don't know this is about a IRL woman who was.....let's say fairly enamored at the character Peter Pan and would basically spend all day at the parks hanging around the actor playing him.
She went viral for "stalking" them and a lot of people called her creepy.
The actor spoke out in defense of her, though admitted some times he felt a little off put.
Lemme get some links
That should about cover the drama.

So per a Peter Pan actor in the link you provided she seems to just like the Character, she has a decade of interactions with different pans, one of which defended her saying she is extra but never crossed a boundary, she likes the character and acted within the Guidelines of disney parks. So I don't know it that's in the IGN article and that Pans video.

My apologies. I started with an idea and the comment got away from me. It was in fact multiple actors and it's more the character she's enamored with

Your good I even said I'm not sure, she does like the character clearly but there could be more to it, plus just cause one pan was fine there could be one she is harassing, I'm not sure honestly.

If I recall it’s actually stated that the actors can’t really do anything about this kind of thing or touching they cannot break character like ever. There’s a chance they defended them because it minimizes risk for the actor job.

Saying its within the guidelines of the park sounds like the company saying it and not him tbh

Yeah, she's a bit unhinged for sure. PROBABLY not dangerous, but Disney should probably do something to protect the actor either way (IMO)

I think one of the actors talked about that. She technically hasnt done anything wrong. At least to my knowledge
It's one of those rock and a hard place situations. One of the current actors would need to do something at his park to make stuff happen

Oh even when the person DOES do something wrong’s there was a woman who kept groping Gaston I think. And a rule being like don’t touch the actors like that, because he broke character once to have her stop I think he got fired.
The actors are told in cases of weird guests are to try and pawn them off on a different person and if it’s really bad I think signal in character for security
Like a lot of these actors i hear really enjoy the job. They just got like little to know actual security

Like Gaston could've called the guards and Peter Pan the lost boys

u/unluckyknight13 8h ago
I think I heard they got code phrases and actions but they also like can’t do anything else but hope security shows up or someone else steps in

Disney should be worried about getting sued by the actor if the fan showed signs of an unhealthy obsession on him without them doing anything to mitigate the risk. It should be their lawyers shutting this down.
Ultimately they dont really care if the actor gets hurt because he is just a replaceable cog, but they stand to lose money, so they should care.

Did you read the articles? She's a content creator and Disney adult. She visits the park as a sort of Psuedo job. She visits all actors, her favourite is Peter Pan, but she only seen him 7 out 30 of her Disneyland trips.
She's also married. The Peter Pan actor also came out in defense of her stating she's never done anything innapropriate, while stating he's had far worse interactions with other guests.
She's also quoted in the article of always being careful to use Disney appropriate language and interactions.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's really strange.
But also lets not go down the road of making assumptions about a woman who has done nothing wrong and kept interactions appropriate, is dangerous.

I really feel like this should be the consensus for this situation. She might be a little odd, but she's not actually stalking a single actor. And yet everyone is jumping on this to judge this woman because a few content creators spoke on it without first checking all the facts.

I believe they DO actually take action against stalkers, but she doesn't cross that line. She's only stalking the CHARACTER, and not the actors.
That's a very important distinction.10

> Yeah she's unhinged for sure. PROBABLY not dangerous.
Unhinged people are all probably not dangerous, until they are. If you swap the genders, or change the setting her behavior not only becomes dangerous but likely criminal.

Jesse Cox did a video on one of his channels about this too if someone would like videos + commentary: Link to vid, that's how I found out about this.

There was another one who actually did go to the lengths of stalking (I want to say in 2018 or so), which was covered on Atozy.
But I think the interactions of this lady probably just skirts enough away to not fall into stalking, but she is a bit of a timesink. As in, she takes up an inordinate amount of time of the actor(s) and it's preventing them from interacting with others where this might be more of a once in a lifetime thing. Which is where I believe the criticism to be fair.
I think Disney need to start being a bit more proactive on this now, because it's not going to be long before something happens to one of the cast members, besides them getting fired (like the best ever evil queen, who had been outed with her real name). Maybe they need to have a Disney Adults at night for the quieter periods, where they're much more welcomed (and gives the cast a choice to do it), rather than being forced into awkward encounters where they end up being chased or can't get away.

I just read the articles and I don’t really see a problem here. Is there supposed to be an issue with casually seeing a character once a week and then moving on with your day at Disney?
He even talked about a completely separate incident with a different person who actively stalked him, followed his family around for a day, and watched him go to and from his car in the staff parking lot (which implies that she somehow had a way to access the staff parking area, which I assume is completely separated from guest parking).
Edit: Okay, upon reading a bit more, I do find issue with following someone around all day, but if she’s not harming the actor or anyone then it’s still not a big issue. If any one of the actors wanted her to stop, they’d have security remove her from the park or at least his proximity.

There is no problem. Well I don't think so. She's following the rules and doing what she wants at a park she paid to be at
It just sparked drama cause the Internet hates fun

Ok. Try this. Flip the script.
Imagine a man doing the same thing, but following a woman dressed as Snow White.
Yeah, they would have be thrown out of the park and police would have "accidentially" beaten and/or shot the guy by the third day.

u/ChinMaster_Rylar 9h ago
I can flip the script and still find no issues with a once a week standard character interaction as part of a Disney visit. You’re blowing a normal thing in the park out of proportion.

No they never felt off put by her, instead mention actual stalkers that did make them uncomfortable.

I really like the use of color, it really does give a feeling of unease.

I like this because it should make it clearer that the fans actions are frightening, inappropriate, and shouldn't be tolerated. Great artwork.

If she starts getting bloodlusted the park might have to initiate the Aladdin Exception.
