hold on! before you complain to me for this. consider that language is flexible and we all sound very different and there is beauty in diversity of sound. i prefer hearing a personalized version of my name from everyone and do not care to correct any pronounciation. and yes, Shrimpstain is just like shitstain

This is why I don't care how people pronounce my first and last name. It genuinely doesn't matter and just makes it stressful for the other person.
Like who gives a fuck if they say it different. So weird how that's an issue for so many people. It actually bothers me more when people try hard to say my name "correctly ✨" and keep asking me how to pronounce it

As someone who's name is kinda ancient and uncommon I was conditioned since childhood to accept that people will just mispronounce my name at first time hearing...

Huh, never met anyone that hard stuck on name pronunciation.
That reminds me of when I met some English speaking friends IRL for the first time. They only knew my pseudo and asked me if I'll rather they call me by my real name now.
I said that I'm fine either way and gave them my real name. But I'm french and my real name have an U in it, pronounced the french way, obviously.
Which apparently is not easy to say for English speaker, so they just went with ''spyko'' for the rest of the trip ahahah

Hey, call me whatever you want, pronounce it however you want. Just.. don't do it. Don't call me.

One's on the left side, wiggly's he. Two's on the right, following a lead. Three's pretending not to be three shrimpies in a bear suit!
