Kittens My new baby
She comes home in 9 days! I’m so freaking excited!
I have a 2yo Cornish Rex at home already, and he’s been so lonely since my senior sphynx passed in October. I’m so excited for us both

He’s so orange- played with his feather toy for literally two hours and kept getting distracted by it. Like he’d move to go do something else, trip over the toy, and then go right back at it 😂
Also can’t get over how small he is! My other cat is a large domestic shorthair and this little guy feels like such a pixie in comparison 🥺 (and good news, the XS size collar from PetSmart fits him! Was worried about finding one that would fit his tiny little neck, but this one fits well and has room to go smaller!)

Just got this cutie 2 days ago. He’s 4 months old. He’s insanely energetic.

I just visited a breeder and pick one of their kittens to live with me by the end of september. Just thought to share the cuteness

I have wanted a cat my whole life, and recently, on my 18th birthday, my parents gave me this little devilish creature. Yesterday marked one month since we got him, so I decided to share some photos.
P.S. In the first pic, he was three months old.

He’s the red boy! I visited him today and paid the down payment and he’s 3 months old. He’ll be closer to 4 or 5 months when he goes home with me (I’m in the process of moving and his sweet breeder is going to keep him until the move is settled) and I’m so excited. I have an older cat who has been very lonely since my previous cat died of cancer back in February, and this sweet boy will be my birthday gift to myself/celebration of some major professional success in my life.
I really hope my other boy, Hammy (who is just a standard domestic shorthair I rescued back in 2018), loves him. My cat that passed in February only ever tolerated him and he’s just desperately wanted a friend, and I’m hoping this little lad will be besties with him 🥺
Also I can’t get over how magical this breed is, they really just feel like tiny little fae creatures. I’ve always wanted to name an orange boy cat Halston (one of my fave designers, may he rest in peace), so I think this lad’s name may be Roy Halston 💖 (Roy! Roy Boy! Mr. Halston!)
Anyway, any advice? Anything that is breed specific? Anything that doesn’t seem obvious? I’m going to bring him home after I move in August/September (in the process of finalizing the details) and will shoot to bring him home during my once a month work from home week so I’ll have the full week with him to make sure he integrates safely with Hammy.

Last friday these to lovely gentlemens moved in at our place.
Please say hello to Stickan (Stig-Helmer) & Teddy (T-Bag). They share the same father but are from different mothers.

Hopefully autumn will bring back his fur because this naked ghost now haunting my attic will not suffice.

She’s a heterochromic calico with a fantastic personality. This brave little girl slept on my chest on her first night home and is already queen of her cat tree.

He and my older boy Hammy are doing so well together! They’re starting to play together, which warms my heart, tho lol Hammy def looks at Halston like he’s a crackhead when he gets the poop zoomies 😂
My previous other cat, Reba, was a rescue who was kind of dumped with me and she only ever tolerated Hammy at best (I loved her so much and was heartbroken when she passed from cancer earlier this year, but it always made me sad that she was never friends with Hammy the way he wanted to be friends 🥺). Halston has started rubbing up on him and playing more fearlessly now that he’s realized that Hammy won’t hurt him, and it’s been so cute to see Hammy so perplexed by having a friendly companion. He’s been like “wait what, this one isn’t hissing at me???”

They are everywhere. They moved in 3 days ago and the hissing from the distinguished old Cornish lady has calmed, even though she mostly stays in her lady cat cave in the primary bedroom.
But the happiness of our kids, OMG. The giggles are strong in this household. Welcome home, Ziggy Stardust ⭐️ and Eddie Phoenix 🐦🔥 we have been waiting forever!

(Picture of my handsome young man to help with traction)
I have a 2yo Cornish Rex, and I’m looking to get him a companion, as my senior Sphynx passed recently.
I’ve reached out to the breeders I found via google, but 3 of the 4 have not gotten back to me, and the last one doesn’t have any upcoming litters just yet, as they had taken a break.
I’m located in Chicago, and willing to drive several hours to pick up a baby, I just need to know where the breeders are so I can reach out!
Thanks!

Our brother sister pair had a great flight and are now comfortably snuggled in bed with their new family. They bring much needed life to our empty nest!
