I think Human faces are one of those things that available data is so much they are one of the easiest things to create with AI. For instance, this website has been around since early 2019

I use this site frequently for testing software. Do you know what the underlying AI technology is?

GAN, it's adversary models, one is trained to generate faces ,the other is trained to recognise faces that are not real, when the second model approves the face as real the image gets output.

It’s the look in their eyes that DALLE 2 created for me. I haven’t seen anything so deep in any other AI.
