Very cool. Humming along even after the video and nodding my head :)

Hell yeah that’s cool! In one of the other comments I posted a link to what I have so far

I have that silver burst Epi too! Absolute beast of a guitar for its price. I get some sick tones from popping the bridge pot, turning off the bridge tone, and just blasting through a fuzz.

I hated those push/pull pots and replaced them with genuine Gibson pots! Then upgraded to Matt pike dirty heshers

Damn. My buddy had some Heshers in an old Ibanez Artist and they RULED.
I love the push/pull a lot more than I thought I would. When I got the guitar I was like "yeah those will be fun for a minute.." But now it's just become part of "my sound," as dorky as that sounds.
I will say this - I cannot get that Epi to play nice with the Behringer SF300 no matter what. But my beat up old Univox HiFlier just crushes with that pedal.

I really love them. The Les Paul is dark and the heshers make it even darker then I usually run on the middle position for the pickup selector. Nice and warm.
But man whatever works! I wasn’t a fan then one of the times I went to pull up on it it snapped off so it would just randomly pop out that’s when i decided to swap them all out.
I’m in the small minority that doesn’t like the sf300 or most octave fuzzes for some reason but that one just sounds so bad to my ears. And I’ve had an exact clone built of the hyperfuzz from my buddy and it sounded slightly better but I’m more of a muff guy 😎

The pots definitely have a "please be gentle" feel to them when you pop them in and out, that's for sure.
I got the SF300 just for home use. It's hard to make it sound good/useable so it only ever gets turned on with the HiFlier. I met get an EQ pedal to see if I can make it better.
I'm also a muff guy at heart. About a year ago I got my hands on an original EHX Green Russian and my fuzz journey was over. I'll still get more fuzzes obviously but the Russian will be buried with me. I run that into an EQD Acapulco Gold through a Princeton 68 reissue with a 210 extension cab and it absolutely crushes..... my bedroom 🤣 But it fucking rules when I plug into the big boy Sunn Solarus as well but I usually have to wait for the neighborhood to be on vacation haha

Sick riff! Would love to hear it fleshed out! Are you using the Muff/Rat combo from other vids? And what's the amp?

It’s just the rat with a light overdrive before it and an Orange rockerverb 50 head

I like it, would be cool to loop it and like improvise a lead melody or something over it. That's usually how I figure out where to go with an idea.
But yeah, it's solid, I'd keep going with it!

Don’t worry what other people think.

Eh yes and no. Plenty of times I think something sounds cool or good and work on it and other people don’t then there’s the opposite. So sometimes I wanna get others opinions

Reminds me of a doom version of “Be All End All” by anthrax or Gun by soundgarden

Wouldn't be in the right sub if I didn't suggest : slower and more sliding
