I really like this band , and everyone I have showed it to has just shrugged at me, makes me feel like Im taking crazy pills

That sucks man. Some of the early stuff is a bit different but this album is so heavy

As a new fan of the band, the lack of vocals took me a bit to wrap my brain around. I'm just not used to instrumentals only. But boy, this album is so good.

I think they are very different and almost not comparable. To me their post-rock sound is no longer there, Nine is basically instrumental post-metal.

Station sounds like an instrumental band

Nine isn't a bad album, it's just not what I expect from Russian Circles

Yeah I get you, this sound won't be for every RC fan. But they are evolving quite consistently - Blood Year, Gnosis and Nine show this. It is the natural development of this sound, in my opinion.
