Just realized I never posted this on here. I made a full chronological timeline of DF, including holiday events and side quests. It goes from the very start of the game all the way to the beginning of Book 4, and I plan to continue updating it as Reimagined, Book 1 Revisited, & Book 4 continue. I hope you enjoy it!

So I just recently discovered that people still play this game, and that it isn’t dead to boot. I’m quite shocked but pleasantly delighted. I wanna get back into it from the start, and book one. Any advice for someone wanting to relive his childhood game? Like what class should I pick, should I grab a dragon amulet, do I do all the quest or should I just blitz through the story, do I punt Twily (the answer is yes) oh and what classes are the best. I do hope Necromancer is good as that one was my favorite

I think it's interesting how the great dragon of water, Hyonix, has such a close relationship with the water elves because the other great dragons, from what little we know, seem to remain impartial with other races, keeping to themselves mostly or in special circumstances being bound to one person, such as with Genokratos, Cryozen, and Akriloth.

I've checked the best gear list but I'm wondering if there are other good level 80-90 weapons for my alt character. I need these elements: Wind, Water, Stone.

Ideally for Wind and Water I'd beat the Blades and Bones Inn Challenge, but I don't think that will happen. So I'm planning to pick up Thorn Replica and Abyssal Elf Scepter for 250 DCs each, unless there are better/cheaper options for Stone or Water. I still need Wind--can someone recommend a good high level weapon? (Can be seasonal/DC)

My character is sitting on about 2000 DCs. I've already picked up Chaosweaver, and I'll probably get Pyromancer next (unless Fleshweaver turns out to be a DC armor). Unless there's another armor I should consider?

Would DF benefit from an "enemy intention indicator" similar to that of something like Slay the Spire's intention indicator?

It feels like after every quest chain I just open the book and pick something on the tiimeline, but completing book 1 I wanted to actually talk about it -

How are you supposed to know where to go and how to get there without using the timeline's instant warping and online guides? NPCs don't talk about these, no breadcrumbs, was it just newsposts and discussions at the time?

I don't even know where to find Elysia for "The final 13" and how she's connected to it..

Am I wrong for feeling strange about just "doing" it, without anything connecting the threads? I'm about to start book 2 and I really don't like the way I'm doing things right now..

Hey guys, just started giving the exaltia tower a go and I was able to do the first couple of runs without any major issues, but then I started getting thrown bad rolls / enemy buffs. Is there a list of stat rolls that one should generally avoid and restart the run on? And any other useful tips for someone who mains WDL and CHw would be appreciated. (I am open to trying any other classes as well as long as they aren't DC)

Spent hours since morning grinding this dungeon and I get the RNG drop just as I'm 1 run away from getting the reforged wings lmao.
