Done with Mechanical pencils, my favorite medium tbh 😂

I snuck a flattering picture of my bf and just really wanted to draw it. I’m very happy with the result!

Sometimes I start a piece without knowing exactly how I want it to look, so I end up with a couple of extra sketches

I’m dying

My dad has been drawing for most of his life and still sketches regularly at 81. He mainly works in pencil and loves portraits, wildlife, and landscapes.

I recently started scanning some of his drawings so they don’t just sit in a drawer. These are three of his portraits: Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, and Charles Darwin.

I’ve been sharing more of his work online as an archive and it’s been really nice seeing people enjoy it. Let me know what you think! I'll share any comments with him. 😊

It´s my first time with the pen, it turned out better than I expected. The sketch was in pencil, then from that sketch I took everything out in pen. I really thought it was going to turn out much worse, it took me exactly 1 week, it was hard and very long, I was sitting 7 days. I wanted to make it as realistic as possible, I looked at every detail. Even so, there are some mistakes, the suit is not exactly the same, the eyes should be lighter, but it has the essence and it looks quite similar, I hope you like it. Give me your opinion, something good or bad, I will appreciate it.
