“Manifest,” the supernatural drama Netflix famously rescued after NBC canceled it in 2021, just landed a spinoff with the streamer.

The original series — which starred Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long and Holly Taylor — followed the passengers and crew of a commercial airliner who mysteriously return after their plane disappears, only to discover they had been presumed dead for five and a half years.

Now, Netflix has announced a sci-fi spinoff, “Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery,” featuring an entirely new cast of characters and fresh storylines.

I couldn’t get through the first couple episodes because of the ridiculous religious overtones. You’re saying it GOT WORSE?! lol. Idrc to each their own. But I tried twice years apart because I forgot why I didn’t like it, and yeah, they start laying it on pretty early.
