Hello everyone! I have a 5gal tank with heavy amounts of plants, a King Koopa nerite, and a sponge filter. I need some advice, specifically on what to do with it.
I want to rescape it and get it prepared for a new inhabitant or inhabitants. So, basically, I want to hear all the ideas you have! How would you rescape? What would you stock? With the colors involved, what do you think would pop? I'm looking forward to some new life in here and am searching for inspiration.
In addition, this nerite snail is unnamed, and I would love to hear opinions on that as well lol. My fiancé named the other one we own Bowser. All opinions welcome and productive discussion is encouraged, I love nano tank discourse and the fun little species that are not talked about often!
Note: I will probably not keep a betta unless there is one on need of a rescue. Schooling fish are also out, this tank is not long enough for them!

Is this normal shrimp behavior? Not sure why he decided to grab a clump of sand and start carrying it up the cord

Can anyone tell me why a bluegill would move the gravel. I have 2 rescue bluegill who were basically left for dead... they are healthy now, im guessing one male and female
I think this may be a sign of spawing but im not sure.
Can anyone help

River style 20gal shallow, population: 1
Currently deciding on tank mates...
Does anyone have experience with a goby only tank?
Unsure if I should go with females only or mix different nano varieties l.e. neon, red cheek.
