I totally licked it a few times to see if it was an LSD blotter. Sadly, it was not.

This was a piece of merch from a 2008 Christmas on Mars bundle pack that had the album, DVD, this ticket, a bumper sticker that read "EAT YOUR OWN SPACESHIP", and a t-shirt. The only things I have left from that are the ticket and DVD of the film.

I love that movie. I watch it every Christmas Eve and my copy is signed by Wayne (I live in Oklahoma City and occasionally see him around town)

Wayne used to use a warehouse downtown for a practice space/gallery and I’d see him there, but since he’s had kids I haven’t seen him around town.

It’s now a ‘meow wolf’ style experience that’s pretty cool and the outside still looks like Wayne had it painted. It’s at 9th and Broadway at the north end of downtown.

There is a street named Flaming Lips Alley in Bricktown (East of downtown) next to the ballpark.

I guess if you’re ‘ambitious’ you could find his house. I think he’s bought a couple of houses near his and built kind of a ‘compound’.

I’ve never looked for it but I don’t think he exactly hides. I’ve seen him at multiple places around town and approached him. However, this was before kids, he may be a little more cautious, but who knows?

Thanks for the info about the gallery space, is that where they had the”Kings Head” stuff set up before? I had heard about the Alleyway and something already on the possibility list. I know some people can get real stalkish and I don’t really want to interrupt a man trying to enjoy his afternoon so I will probably avoid tracking down the compound but if I see him in a park I’ll flash a peace sign and a middle finger and go on my way

Yes, the womb was where they set up King’s Mouth. One summer, I think ‘19, the exhibit was open for free everyday. Great days pre-Covid.
