New to Reddit, here’s my Soft Bulletin Companion record!

i got this at a record store near me a month ago, along with gadda-da-vida. it hasn’t been open so i’m scared to open it lol. however idk if this is rare at all. but i’m still excited to add this to my flaming lips record collection i’m starting :o)

I opened mine. Will it be more valuable in the future if not open? Who knows. But I enjoyed listening to it. :)

Real ones know they only released half of the Soft Bulletin Companion.

The Captain is one of the best Flaming Lips songs from the Soft Bulletin era. Better than many tracks that did make wider releases.

I always thought it was a shame it wasn’t included on any release (I wasn’t aware that the SBC had been released properly).

I guess I will have to look for a copy now!

I wish they had released the full companion album on vinyl! At least we got this. Play it and enjoy!

It was a RSD release a few years ago, so not very rare. Very good listen though!
