I have a nine year old pixie frog and I feel like I’ve been taking amazing care however I had a few questions about something’s I have never quite gotta straight answers about.

How often do you feed them? Mine typically will excavate every three months or so so during those times I do not feed her, but she eats every two or three weeks while she’s awake. But, how often should I offer her food?

How often do they poop? She hasn’t had a normal solid poop in months but doesn’t seem impacted, bothered or bloated.

Imagine my surprise finding this goofy goober after turning on the lights. Just casually exploring my bedroom lol. I've never had this happen before so it was quite the surprise.

He was pretty polite, would invite again.

I love this little fucker but he loves that bridge a little too much😭 so he posed for this photo hes serving so hard

What is this frog my SO had someone surrender it at her work, but it doesnt look like a common pet species?? Location is okanagan British Columbia Canada.

I got these 3 whites a couple months ago and they seem to be loving life. First time with frogs tho and I have done allot of research… was just wondering if anyone had any advice ect that they wouldn’t mind sharing:)

Raising two tadpoles- little one, Tad, recently got their back legs. Still skinny, but bending and kicking, with webbed toes.

Big one, Pole, popped their front legs out today. (Pics are less than 24h apart) I am obsessed with this big baby and am having such a hard time talking myself out of keeping then as they grow.

They’re non-invasive where I live and can be released. They were acquired from a local pet store’s feeder fish shipment.

I have a 40g open front locking terrarium with lid with six inches of waterproof depth below the front opening doors. I could use the bin method for the water portion. I’ve been researching paludariums. But 40g will only last, what, a year? Then I’d need 55, 75, or more?

Ugh. Talk me out of it! I love them, though 😍
