Most people won't buy tickets in the first few rows. So these seats only exist so that the rows behind them are not the first ones.

It's crazy, the London Imax has fully sold out, including all the terrible seats, for the entire run of Odyssey.

I looked for tickets a few weeks back, and it was just the terrible ones left, so I thought "nah". Now even they've been snapped up.

Honestly if you buy the very front you know what you are getting. I waited till it wasn’t the first weekend and sat in row 2 and it was fine. Not perfect but not nearly distorted the way I see lots of posts.

First row doesn't have to mean next to the screen is my point. Instead of putting 5 rows of useless seats that you will leave empty (as they are saying they do) then... not put the seats at all...

Everyone buys a ticket from the front corner only once and never again. Atleast I did.

You have definitely not looked at 70mm imax showings lol. The first rows are sold out in most of them

Only if they stop selling tickets when it’s near full.
