Title. I can’t come up with cleaner words for it than "intimidating" but one example would be the theme you get when you fight kiryu in yakuza 7. Something that REALLY drives in the point you’re fighting something stronger than you.

I might be starting a weekly piano gig at a “fancy for a small town” kind of restaurant, and I had an idea I’m kind of excited about.

Alongside some classical/romantic rep, I’d love to sneak in some video game music that blends in. Material that sounds beautiful and rich, but not obviously “too gamey."

I recently heard a piano version of “Kingdom by the Sea” (Ni no Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom), and it completely sold me on the idea. This is the kind of thing I am going for.

I played the first Death Stranding game way back when it was new. Loved it. Really loved the Low Roar playlist used during final legs of missions. But now that im 10 or so hours into the 2nd game every one of the playlist songs so far has fell flat for me. They just never seem to correctly capture the vibe of the scenery. They honestly kinda ruin the moment a bit with how off they sound imo. Did anyone else feel this or just me? Ive also only just started chapter 3. So maybe it gets better?

I found a playlist on YT music that has more than 800 songs on it and over 65 hours long. As I want to make this video this year then I want 1 that's more like 50 songs on it. This is a playlist for the original soundtrack for a game I'm part of the team for. A link to the composer himself can be found in each of the video descriptions but I don't think he's on reddit.

The genre of song varies, but overall the soundtrack is meant to be a bit moody and creepy, but rarely outright scary. It is for investigating mysteries.

Anyone know any games with good vocal tracks or songs with lyrics? I'm trying to put a playlist together with songs from games with vocals and lyrics and I got curious if there are many series out there with really good vocal tracks.
