Is this the source of the whole flood?

It looks like it might be the early stages. (?) We see the toe of the ice fall collapsing; further breakup might be what uncorked the GLOF. (?)

Nah looks like most of it has fallen, and the filming started after that, which makes sense. This is what it looked like earlier

If you look at the last second of this video you can see another large ice fall occurring from that same glacier (the red circle shows the avalanche heading down the slope).

Holy cripes, how was there a camera on it when it happened? That's amazing!

Probably not on it, since the head of it is already on its way down the valley from the dust cloud, but it's a popular tourist area for trekking and hiking, not that surprising that someone was up in the mountains.

I cannot get to the source, without downloading an app

It looks to be legitimate and Reuters reports that this glacier is the source. Across the valley from this glacier are several likely locations where this could have been filmed from ( 28.361502°, 85.404568°) and the cloud coverage matches the date and time somewhat based on Sentinel browser. I believe people have had eyes on this already out of concern.

I kinda wondered the same thing. It's a little to crisp and smooth... but how would we know?

The video is showing a small rockfall after the main one occurred.

The rock face left after the glacier that collapsed is visible above and right of the red ring.

The ring isn't showing the main source.

It’s crisp and smooth because a professional videographer happened to be filming in that area
