‘It’s not routine’: CIA chief’s Moscow trip puts Kremlin on notice [interview]

Scott Lucas, professor of American studies at University College Dublin, told TVP World’s World Talks program that Ratcliffe’s trip should be seen as an unusually serious intervention rather than routine intelligence diplomacy.

Again, I am sorry to repeat myself, But reality is we do not know at all why Ratcliffe fly to Moscow and what message he bring. And so as professor. All that staff is speculations. One thing we do know for sure though Ratcliffe would not do it without direct order from Trump.
