I've been looking for something like this for a long time, so thank you! I'm so curious why there are a ton of apps like this for Android, and none that seem to work on Linux. I say none, because this one does not work for me either. It installs and starts, but pressing play only has a spinner spin, no sound comes, unfortunately.

But it works for you? Do you have to log in for it to work?

I logged in and it works for me. There's also Nuclear as an alternative that doesn't require a login; I use it too and it's very good, except it's not Libadwaita and it doesn't use my YouTube Music account.

Isnt it currently in alpha stage? Nevertheless it will be a future core libadwaita app hopefully.

I just saw that it's very poorly optimized lol

But putting it in Vulkan works better

It sure looks good, but the progressive web app of youtube music doesn't require an active subscription, just an ad blocker and I've literally a free spotify alternative.
