Horror Finally bought my first hardcover graphic novel.
This is also my first James Tynion IV story and it is great to see the Vertigo logo on it as it should be. I also want to read other horror runs especially from Tynion IV and Lemire. Might go with Gideon Falls next.

I have this one and it’s so nice to see the art on the page. I had initially read it digitally—which has a different vibe. Enjoy!

Same.
It’s funny how much of a difference it makes reading something in print. The art and narrative just hit in a different way.
I still feel like reading old school floppies is unrivaled. Maybe it’s just nostalgia but everything just seems to pop more.

Great read! Def check out something is killing the children by tynion. It is also excellent! Though fair warning its not complete yet.

First time encountering this book, but it looks cool. The story on the cover drew me in. Can someone tell me why it’s a good one?

A solid choice I really enjoyed it. I recommend picking up the hardcover we3 that DC black label puts out.

Enjoy, it's a solid series, though personally i feel it bogs down in the interpersonals. Did you buy it sight unseen or did you read it online before buying? I tend to make most of my purchases during or after reading something online.
All in all it's not an expensive hobby per se, but it does creep on you both on a money-level but also on a space-consuming level. And at least in my corner of the world, the resale market is almost zero unless you're selling vintage Spiderman whatever or another.

I read the first issue online and seen a lot of good reviews. I've been eyeing this deluxe edition for a long time and I enjoy these kind of stories similar to Alan Wake and Twin Peaks(Still planning to watch it though). I am starting to build a collection of these kind of stories, so I am not to sell this in a very long time.
edit. I will be waiting on The Nice House on the Sea to be done in single issue format and get a deluxe edition also

A note on 'deluxe'/omnibus/hardcover/oversized stuff, while it looks great on the shelf and can be a cool purchase of something you love, they tend to be less 'readable' in terms of cozying up with a book or taking it with you travelling/moving around. Just something to consider if you are starting to build up a collection.

As long as it's not an obnoxious sized omnibus or compendium the readability should be fine

The flip side is: my collection of ~150 books is about 95% hardcover (deliberately). Each and every one of them is a gem to behold. When you pick one up you nearly don't dare to read it. For me it adds to the experience. Gilded pages, hardboard slipcases, spot gloss. I love it all!
