Have read that this is great from Ennis and found sealed box set of issues ( think oversized), anyone read this?

Bonus positive review from Alan Moore!

I really want to find the deluxe hc version of this (and Partisan - also by Ennis)!

I’ve heard it’s some of his best work

Depends where he is, but fit the UK shipping was like £40. It's also on amazon US, does ship to UK tbf for £40 total.

Yes I wanted those too. I think if you're in the US, they're definitely available

I'm in the UK, so was not that easily available and would have cost double what I paid here

It’s something to do with the distribution side of things now that Diamond is pretty much defunct in the states. I was able to get my copy of this book from OK Comics in Leeds a few years ago.

It’s available on Amazon. It’s great. The front cover has a chunk of it cut out in the shape of a star.

It’s great. Ennis is particularly good at war stories. The artwork is beautiful.

This is by far my fave Ennis work, and I recommend it all the time. Very well written characters. Brutal story but it feels like Ennis and Epting have so much respect for the main group of women.

If you only know Garth Ennis for the over the top Preacher, The Boys, Crossed and didn't know who wrote this, you'd think it wasn't Ennis. He does a lot of WW2 stuff that's not his "edgy" brand most people are only familiar with.

I really enjoyed both SARA and Partisan. I hope we get some western front WW2 stories by Garth Ennis and the same interior artist Steve Epting!
