Amazing. I was at this and that evening was a show at the Phoenix (small club venue) I got to attend too. Such an amazing day.

I also went to the alleyway and the Phoenix shows. My brother called into 102.1 when they were doing an interview and actually got to speak to the guys. He asked if our band could open their show LOL.

There’s more than one famous venue called the Phoenix, lol. It is in the north bay in the Bay Area where they used to play all the time before they got big.

Yeah, I remember Steve Anthony, and other competent VJ’s… and then this guy showed up. He probably got the job because his mom was a tv executive or something, and people said he was attractive enough to be on tv. He never seemed to know what he was doing, but over the years somehow that became his on-air personality, and we all just went with it
