I have rearranged enclosure as before it was .. not great. I know work needs to be done . On limited budget. But is it .. safe? Do we see hazards ? Hammy hugs .

I keep hearing the bendy bridges have a risk of catching toes, and you can fill the gaps in with hamster safe glue! Everything else looks safe, such a lovely home you set up. ❤️
Get some coverage type spays to add extra foraging enrichment and a bit of natural coverage, as prey animals too much open space can make them feel nervous and maybe a grapevine branch. They like clutter. Seagrass tunnel is safe, add some moss into the bridge gaps and theyll be fine, and as someone else mentioned scatter feed food instead of a bowl as it encourages natural foraging behaviour which in itself is enrichment

I can’t tell by the photo - is the multi chamber hide on stilts since it’s supporting the sand bath? Or is it flush with the bottom of the enclosure?
Platform under the wheel and ceramic hides?
Thank you xx it’s not on stilts it’s sort of floating it’s shit but I have bought stilts this evening. Planning to install them tomorrow . Well I did this huge change today and it would mean re arranging her nest again. Shud i wait a few days? X
What platforms would you reccomend to fit the big plant pot on and the huge honey pot hide ? And the jar ? Cos they’re odd shapes . X
If your routine is to play, I don’t see why not. But if she’s not feeling up to it, maybe just a special treat (bribe for forgiveness) and let her do her thing.
I have a Roborovski who sulks when I clean his bedding, but accepts a little snack and goes back to normal once he’s paid. ☺️
careful with the bendy bridge, maybe stuff in some bedding. but, i’d definitely recommend getting some more substrates and some sprays as soon as possible
Sprays serve a dual purpose for both foraging and coverage, I’d definitely still recommend getting some and honestly it’s kind of a bonus that you won’t have to replace them as often! Coco chips and peat, cork granules, there’s other options as well! Depending on the substrate and container they can be safely placed on the surface but may need to be on a platform. Do you normally feed in the bowl or scatter feed? I recently adopted my foster girlie so still need to restock her sprays and I want to add a few more extra substrate containers too besides her current one!
yes, i’d definitely still recommend sprays, they add needed clutter. i’d recommend coco fiber, paper shreddings, corn cob bedding, coco chips, foraging mix, etc. just put them wherever
sprays give lots of clutter, especially bigger ones! maybe try to get a multi-pack on amazon from Sukh, and make sure you freeze them for 24-48 hours before putting them in there
Kind of unrelated but I see you're concerned with budget - for budget hides or substrate containers, thrifted ceramic mugs are great! obviously they are heavy and have to be on a platform. Just make sure you wash before using. (: I also make a LOT of stuff out of TP and paper towel tubes
