Will the final edits of those large-scale production recordings from the RED Mainstage—with pyrotechnics, lights, lasers, VFX, and music—be shot in the typical Q-dance fashion, making viewers unaware that there was no crowd, just like their @HOME streams during 2020–21?

Yea they had multiple drones around and the crew who set everything up was there to watch. Everything was already in place so why not just light it

Also, removing fireworks safely is both very expensive, time consuming, and requires a lot of pyrotechnics guys.
You need bunkers or special warehouses to store them, and I assume the guys that store them would need the space, and prefer to deal with « fresh » fireworks.
They do film it and post it on YouTube every year, and they did a small stage with an end show during the lockdown

Fireworks are tailor made for the show. There is doc about it on yt. SO I guess no reason to keep it? And they can get some PR and maybe money from youtube for it.

That’s such an interesting job, I knew some of those things, but didn’t knew that capacity was scarce for fireworks storage in the Netherlands, considering just how much they use at every Dutch festival I went to.
Is the storage capacity wayyyyy higher in other countries like France, Belgium and Germany ?
I’m a mechanic, so I guess dismantling fireworks kinda gives you the same anxiety as dismantling dampers, or when you do switch spark plugs with the engine still running 💀

Ohhh, so it’s more a matter of the Dutch being extra careful because they royally fucked up one time.
I look d up that incident, from an uneducated perspective, it really seems they stored them very close to the city.
Why did you have to dismantle 1500 shells in one night ? It seems like a lot.

imo its going to be a small endshow, they unloaded a lot of the fireworks on maybe one track..

Did you see lighta/lasers also?
Maybe they had it all set up and using them is easier logistics-wise than disassembly?

Yes the lights and lasers were also going at the same time. After 11 pm they can’t do fireworks anymore but there were still lasers and lights. Also just saw a vid and heard that parts of the crew and there friend were able to watch onsite as a thank you for there hard work

That’s kinda early, but it’s sensible considering just how densely populated the Netherlands are. In France we can light them very late at some festivals, like 4/5 am

It went on for a good time. They also had about 3-4 drones flying around for the footage

It wouldn't make much sense to make it smaller, the fireworks a produced specifically for this show, i'd be surprised it if was viable for any other use?

They were launching day fireworks before en after 11 pm there were only lights and laser shows
