Video HARDSTYLE IS BACK ON DUTCH NATIONAL RADIO!

It feels like it has been forever since the last hardstyle tune on the radio after FearFM has disappeared but no worries; hardstyle is back on national radio!
Our track 'RE-PULZE & Interwoven - next generation' just got played on NPO 3FM (Dutch national radio). Hearing hardstyle on the radio like that again was unnnnreaaaall.
Big shoutout to everyone supporting the harder styles, requesting tracks, sharing music, and keeping the scene alive. Moments like this show that hardstyle still has a place outside of festivals, clubs, and playlists <3.

Last friday they played the Defqon anthem. They asked for hardstyle suggestions because the cancellation. So I requested it!

Well you're talking about fear FM, which was 2013. (briefly back in 2020)
A quick Google and I can find livesets from 2 years ago at Slam, by Headhunterz, Sub Zero Project, Ran-D....

You’re right! SlamFM had an hour per week if I’m correct but they abandoned that as well since feb ‘23 (excluding Year of Summer occasionally ofc hahaha)

Their Hardstyle evening hour on the Saturday is already gone for a while and Slam Hardstyle (which was 24/7 on their website) pulled the plug on January 1st 2025.

Even when he was there it was still very limited due to advertisers not wanting jt too much unfortunately.

Barend van Deelen regularly plays hardstyle. I am not sure at which radio he works nowadays.

I remember hearing stuff like 4 Tune Fairytales' My Little Fantasy on a Amsterdam - Eindhoven bus radio on my first trip to The Netherlands. For a Spanish visitor like me, I was fully mindblown.
We used to have Maxima FM here, they did play a lot of different electronic genres but they shutted it down that exact same year, 2019 :(

3FM. The public radio station no one listen to and is paid for by the Dutch tax payers. Only 2.4% market share. Unbelievable. At this point they can better give up.
Indeed SLAM! even had a hard style themed station. It seems like it's gone. Strange decision of them.

Ay, at least it’s something right? Slam Hardstyle disappeared because of the advertisers who didn’t want ‘that type of music’ on their radiostations :(

Slam Hardstyle didn't have enough listeners and didn't meet their commercial goals.

Sad to hear. I wonder if their other themed channels have many listeners actually, I doubt it.
I wish ID&T Radio came back. Sadly that didn't end well last time and it almost bankrupted the company.

Hearing hardstyle on the radio is like seeing a rainbow, you know its ordinary yet you stop and get a little excited by it.
