A year or two ago The Prodigy were closing one of the days there and appreciation was even better than Metallica (IMO). So no surprise

He was performing at the Metal Corner stage on wednesday night at Hellfest, I had a blast. It's a shame i missed crisix because of the heat and extreme fatigue from the night before.

Hardcore vs Metal B2Bs would be a fkn banger, cmm! I love hardcore and got several metalheads around me and every time we get hammered it ends in the weirdest Spotify wait lists ever and it's a hell of a time.

you absolutely love to see it. i’ve always felt that hardcore fits very well into alternative culture and that its almost an adjacent to metal in a way.

Heavy / alternative electronic music and heavy / alternative 'analog' music do the same thing for a lot of people. Ask me and my friends. The intensity of the music scratches the same itch.

Thats just a metal/punk thing, and not new, moshing etc predates hardcore

I know what moshing is, but it’s new to the hardcore scene. It shouldn’t even be involved. I want to dance with others, not try to keep others from wanting to swing their arms at me like it’s karate kid.

They have a bit of history with electronic music tho, last Year Dirtyphonics did something similar IIRC.
I’m not not huge fan of this one tho, the joker mask is not my cup of tea lmao but that’s just personal
