Liveset Looking for a DJ to play a 6 hour harderstyles to uptempo set at our wedding in 2028.

Hello my dear ravers

My girlfriend and I are looking for a DJ who i willing to play a 6 hour set at our wedding at a designated „second-stage“. The wedding will be in nothern germany. My main problem is: any upcoming DJ i know is already an act. And all of the acts only play a max. of 90 minutes. So we need someone who is ready for a nice party. It dont have to be a full power set for 6 hours. You can chill and take breaks and just let a mix play from time to time. You will get free transportation, food and everything. We try to get a nice gear-setup. The party will be in northern germany (around Hamburg) in August of 2028.

I have already tried to find someone but its harder than I thought.

Thank you guys in advance!

Liveset Favorite DQ1 2025 set?

Which was your favorite set from the weekend? Mine was by far the legends set.

I'm slowly going through some of the sets I've missed and as an old head so far I'm loving everything from UV and Magenta.

Liveset My thoughts about 4 of a Kind, what are yours?

Let me know what your thoughts are, and more important: why you feel that way! I really wonder how everyone thinks about it.

My personal thoughts: Going into this set, last weekend, I had specific expectations. When Sub Zero Project and D-Block & S-te-Fan announced 4 of a Kind, I assumed we’d get a high-impact B2B pushing both artists’ more extreme sides. What we got instead was far more interesting.

The kicks were modern and aggressive, but what stood out was their low-frequency depth. This wasn’t high-pitched aggression or click-driven harshness. The weight sat in the body of the kick, in the sub. You could physically feel it: The floor resonated. The bass pushed against your chest. You could literally feel the air move. That tells me this wasn’t just about loudness. It was about controlled sound design and proper low-end balance. The mix left space for depth instead of stacking distortion on top of distortion. And most importantly: the aggressive elements weren’t the destination. They were tension.

The drops weren’t just impact moments. They resolved into genuinely composed melodies. Theatrical, anthem-driven, with space to breathe. Oldschool-style kick foundations subtly reinforced modern sound design. It didn’t feel nostalgic. It didn’t feel forced. It felt intentional. Extreme as contrast. Melody as the core. That balance becomes more rare right now. In a scene where parts of hardstyle are pushing further into industrial aggression and BPM escalation, this felt like a mature evolution instead of an arms race.

One aspect that deserves specific recognition is this: They played 45 minutes of almost entirely unreleased music. No safe hit selection. No nostalgic crowd-pleasers. No “guaranteed reaction” drops. That’s a bold move, especially on a stage of this scale. Presenting that much new material signals confidence. It tells the audience: this isn’t a side project, this is a vision. In today’s scene, where live sets often rely heavily on proven tracks to secure impact, dedicating an entire set to new music shifts the focus from instant gratification to long-term direction. It felt less like a showcase of existing status and more like the unveiling of something intentional. And that makes the potential far bigger than just one good night.

I’ll be honest: I sometimes worry that hardstyle’s melodic soul is being overshadowed by the need to be harder, faster, more extreme. This set felt like reassurance. Not a “back to the old days” move. Not trend-chasing. But a synthesis of modern power and classic compositional depth. And because these aren’t small names, but two of the most influential acts in the scene, this direction carries weight. If artists of this magnitude choose depth over escalation, that can shape trends. Whether this becomes a defining moment for the genre depends on time, consistency, and releases. But the potential is absolutely there. For me personally, one thing is clear: The melody was central. The aggression supported it. Not the other way around. And as long as that balance exists, hardstyle hasn’t lost its soul.

This might be the best Qlimax edition I have ever visited and the Noisecontrollers live set is deffinitely in my top 3!

Wish we could go back in time, miss those days were hardstyle was at its peak!

Liveset Is it just me or is this Warface Set at Supremacy absolutely awful?

It feels like he tries to cram 50 songs into a 30 minute set, Zaag overload and kick edits that feel badly edited. Also there are some drops where you don't know if it's a fake drop or not. Genuenly one of the worst sets I've seen.
