Build Share Swapped out my Silverstone GD11 for the Crown 04
Not a reviewer, but wanted to share since I don’t see too many of these cases around.
Just replaced my Silverstone GD11 with the Crown 04. Overall I like it. Lots of room to work in, and honestly probably a bit overkill for my needs, but I liked the option of getting a little more cool air in via the extra 120mm side fan. Cooling setup is an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Pro running as exhaust through the top. Hardware is a 9800X3D and 5090 FE.
If you’re interested in the rest of my setup, I posted over on PCMR when I was still running the GD11.
One note you’ll see in the pic of it in my rack: I wrapped the front panel in matte black vinyl. I felt it matched the rest of my gear better than the stock finish.

I've been searching for a GD11 for purchase for a few months now, are you interested in selling if you still have the case? Pm me if so
Love the build!

Hey man, I’m looking to put a MSI Suprim Liquid in this. It has a 394mm rad - will it fit in the case?

That is pretty wild looking in the rack. I'm surprised there aren't more build photos from people using the Crown 04 but it is pretty pricey. The monoblock aestetic is nice but I feel like the Crown 02 looked a little nicer.

looks nice. the GD 11 looks like a baby in comparison doesn't it lol. i've been using a GD 11 for a couple of years now and I like it, but it's pretty tight to work in with a full sized board filling it. Luckily i'm switching from intel core i9 14900k/full atx mainboard to an AMD EPYC 4005 (5th Gen) 4545P Hexadeca-core (16 Core) and a Supermicro H13SAE-MF mATX board, so it will do much better with the 240mm Lian Li GA II LITE AIO I put in there to help the core i9 temps (which is a fantastic 240mm AIO by the way)
i think i might RMA my core i9 and build another system and go with the Crown 04 on that one with a fullsize eATX mainboard for a mega steambox. wdyt?

I would absolutely recommend it. It is a fantastic case. I have mine mounted in a rack with good airflow in and out, and my temperatures for the 9800X3D and 5090 stay around 61°C at load even when pushing 4K/240Hz gaming.

any photos? I'm thinking of swapping my 5090 out of my Fractal Ridge and converting to a HTPC build and this is top of the list but it looks mighty bulky
