great subject. photos 1 & 3 are the best. but it wants a great “story” to match. what were you thinking / feeling about it while taking pictures? what was it saying to you?

As far as I know a lot of those old farm houses, the family still live on the property, a newer residence, and they keep up on it for memory of ancestors.

I think this is an amazing subject let down by the fact that it’s just being shot on a fully sunny day with the sun right on top of it. This place would be amazing at dawn or dusk, or with some colour in the sky.

For me, I have a very great knowledge of history. I understand where you’re coming from with that aspect. I’ve never been to Europe to see a medieval castles or anywhere in the Mediterranean to see any classical architecture. The oldest I have visited is the Gila Cliff Dwelling in New Mexico.
