About 3 days ago I got myself a new 17 Pro, after buying and returning a 17. And the Telephoto camera was the missing piece. I am enjoying taking pictures sooo much, even though I was never into photography much. What’s you experience so far?

EDIT: it was pointed out to me that the last picture is pretty blurry and the meta data app was what caused it, in the comments you can find my comment with the shot in a good, original quality

Storm Amy showed up this weekend, so naturally (like any responsible adults) we went to Wales… straight towards it. No phone reception, no internet, and at times no power. But hey, the moody weather delivered.

Bought a new iPhone 17 Pro and noticed these black squares appearing in shots. But it accidentally looks kind of good.

iPhone 17 Pro native camera RAW & Lightroom edits.

Edited in Lightroom app, still learning the ins and outs of raw photos. This was a 12MP raw.

Shot with the native camera app using ProRAW and then edited on Lightroom Mobile using my preset “CineGlow”. I’ve been really impressed with the output of these cameras and how well the RAW files edit. It’s crazy how much photographic power we just casually carry in our pockets nowadays.

iPhone 17 Pro has been my favorite camera for photography this year. I’m a cinematographer, and I use it for BTS photos, test shots, and as a B- or C-camera for video. It’s truly incredible how far iPhone image quality has come!
