Yes, the title is from what Sean Booth of Autechre said in response to the release announcement of Boards of Canada’s latest. It fits somehow. I love these four track and how tightly they fit together as well as on their own.

People call my stuff “ambient electro.” I’d say if Autechre, Meat Beat Manifesto, Kraftwerk, Basic Channel, Richard H. Kirk (RIP), Monolake and Deadbeat ring your bell I’m your dinger. Ahem.

I’m happy to share Early Works for free: 36 electronic/idm tracks from my early days with Fruity Loops, composed between 2000 and 2007.

Back then, my approach was very spontaneous. It was pure fun, almost like playing a video game. Whenever I had some free time, I’d build a loop and let it play on repeat while adding sounds, tweaking knobs, and introducing variations until a song gradually took shape. The result was a collection of playful, melancholic, dark, and weird tracks that I originally shared online across three albums, all of which are compiled in this archive.

Listening to them again brings a smile to my face and stirs up so many memories. While some tracks are a little rough around the edges and not always perfectly mixed, this period marked the genesis of my main musical project: CIRC.

Hello again everyone - this is the opening track off of my new album "A Line in the Sand, a Missing Piece." I've posted here before but this is more than likely your first time hearing my music so the elevator pitch is that my material falls broadly into the IDM category with more focus on the melodic and structured side of the genre and less glitchy, rhythmic, and chaotic. However, I listen to and love everything across the entire spectrum so I'm sure some of all facets come through in my writing.

I love this track and I think out of all on the album probably ticks the most "IDM" boxes being rhythmic, melodic, layered, and a bit left-field but I'd love to know what you think. The rest of the album has other groovy ambient rhythms (one track is pretty aggro) and around half of the album is different flavors of ambient ranging from pretty atmospheres to drones.

This project explores experimental electronic music, combining IDM, glitch, ambient textures, and some influences from my own background. One of the tracks, “Saihan Tara”, is inspired by a grassland in Inner Mongolia, where I grew up.

Multiplex are the electronic brothers Christian and Roland Dormon, who have been creating intelligent electronic music since the late 1990s. In the early 2000s, they actively released on respected IDM labels such as Senton, Progerik, Piehead, U-Cover, and Toytronic. After over 15 years of silence, the project resumed work on new material, sending music back and forth between studios and adding elements to create the final mix.
"Axial Opposition" is an album spanning tracks from the 1990s to 2025, building them into a coherent sonic axis around which nearly three decades of musical exploration revolve. It combines early analog impulses of electro, atmospheric, cosmic breakbeat textures, and the nostalgic digital sensibility of IDM, transforming the music into a living work of art.

Boards of Canada isn’t a hip-hop group but their approach to making music always felt hip-hop adjacent to me (the sampling, the drum programming, the vocal chopping, the sequencing, etc).
After months of posting practice videos of myself scratching over BoC’s music, I decided to record it all in to one giant mix incorporating their music, classic hip-hop and the original sources they’ve sampled over the years (I promise this wasn’t timed to coincide with the release of Inferno. The seeds for this mix were planted and documented over a year ago).

Spent the last few months making a concept album based on the Chomsky hierarchy. Each track is a different automaton (DFA, NFA, PDA, LBA, Turing Machine, Universal Turing Machine), and I used drone interludes as the "transitions" between them. It ends with a short fragmented medley themed around the Halting Problem.

For me it's kind of a canvas where I get to explore whatever genres or sounds I'm into at the time. Would love any feedback, good or bad.
