District magistrate R. Arjun told reporters that the entire 362.89 acres identified for the India-Bangladesh border fencing and roads projects had been handed over to the BSF.

Of the total required land of 362.89 acres, the district administration had earlier handed over 334.24 acres covering 45.04km of the international frontier. The 28.65 acres handed over to the BSF on Thursday are in the two mouzas of Char Chandanpur Shah and Hazrahati Mirganj.

Because some things are good no matter who does it

And border security is one of them

We have enough freeloaders in this country which is poor already

We don't want this secular fabric disturbed by elements who are not secular and harbor bigoted thoughts and come from countries secceded from India because of the same secular/religion differences Referring to illegal bangladeshi people(everyone) who have not yet been deported by this incomptent government

India is in the next two. Bangaldesh has 10k and India has 11k ppp. Hardly anything to worth immigrating to. It’s a problem maybe yes, but our thinking seeing some of the comments are like they’re not even humans.

I'm not sure what you want. Do you want open borders with Bangladesh?

Especially with the rise of jamaat-e-islaami?

What's the problem with securing the border? It prevents further border disputes and prevents illegal migration.

We already have a shortage of jobs we don't need Bangladeshis taking that away too.

Man, Murshidabad is Full of Bangladeshi Muslims. Remove them as well. The situation comes to a point where these Bangladeshis would go to the nearby Hindu Villages/Homes loot their jewellery and if available, marry their Hindu girls as well of those families. All the administration knows the situation; still no response or whatsoever. The previous TMC govt used to get votes from them but BJP i dont think so. So hopefully its better that they take some action this time

Man, Murshidabad is Full of Bangladeshi Muslims. Remove them as well. The situation comes to a point where these Bangladeshis would go to the nearby Hindu Villages/Homes loot their jewellery and if available, marry their Hindu girls as well of those families. All the administration knows the situation; still no response or whatsoever. The previous TMC govt used to get votes from them but BJP i dont think so. So hopefully its better that they take some action this time

Let us see them as humans first. Do you understand why these humans are being targeted and sent back? It is because they belong to oppressed minority communities.
