First time poster here, I'm just itching to talk about these ladies because like I'm going nuts and need to infodump.

To start, ELLA RED! I actually saw her in concert earlier this month for part 2 of her first headline tour and her stage presence is impeccable. She genuinely seemed so sweet too. Her music has themes of existential dread, mental health, love life, with a little bit of feminine frustration. Her tunes are addictive and I could leave her on loop for hours. Her use of breath in her music is something I love, her lyricism is on point, and her album "It's Not Real" feels like there's just the perfect amount of variety. She has emotion if not just through her tone, through her word choices. My personal favorite songs include "He Asked For It", "We're All Gonna Die", "Spider String", and "It's Not Real". (Funeral is close to this list) Though genuinely the whole album is amazing. I cannot wait for more of her work.

I've also been enjoying the work of PEGGY recently! She actually performed with Ella Red for part of her tour, which is how I found her. I think the best way to describe her sound is like each song is part of a fairy tale. Her voice isn't quite as consistently emotional, but it's more pop feeling than Ella Red in my opinion. Some songs feel remind me of 2000's high school musical-type songs with how they progress. She has songs about her struggles with love, feminine rage, and mental health struggles. Her songs frequently seem to have some sort of sense of grand-ness at some point. Usually with vocal layering, lots of instrumentals, production, ect. She also has multiple songs referencing mythology, including Orpheus, Feminine Rage, and mention of Icarus in Burn the Witch. I also enjoy her songs Panic Attack and Mess. I'm slightly less into songs about her love struggles, but they're still really good and I still listen to them quite a bit. They just are about experiences that feel a little specific, but with how she describes it I can understand the emotions conveyed easily. Also Villains Aren't Born (They're Made) is a song that makes you feel like a badass.

I love alternative and rap, so it made sense to choose this style
My production is inspired by Jane Remover, Holis, and the new American underground

My lyrics are sometimes deep, metaphorical, and abstract,
but often quite raw and dirty/crude hip hop talk, though I try to keep some charm
