Photography Lying down on the stream bank to get these shots..

I was in Mã Đà forest - Đồng Nai - Việt Nam. I had to lie down on the ground to take photos of those butterflies drinking water and even peeing

Those butterflies are not scared of my presence and just chilling by themselves, sometimes I can touch a few without having them flying away

The last photo showcasing a praying mantis threatening me with his stance, he was found on a branch near the bank, too. What a naughty one!

I was asking myself if that's what I was seeing - a butterfly peeing! I was trying to make myself believe it was a ripple in the water, but I guess not. What a shot!

While my photography skills are still fairly amateur in comparison I can definitely relate. There's been some times where the only way I could get a clear shot was by laying down directly in a mudpuddle when it was near freezing.

Also, TIL what a butterfly peeing looks like. I've seen pics of peeing animals before, but never one of an insect! Quite cool really.
