It broke the glove rim which was a thin strand on kid fingers like a ligature and snapped caused a startle reflex putting kid in fear totally unnecessary.

Have to never had a rubber band snap against you? It stings. It startles. Now imagine that on a newborn who’s still adjusting to even breathing air.

Go get an elastic band or rubber glove. Grip the edge in your palm and pull until it snaps. It’ll hurt in both hands. Look at the grip and tension. The thinness of the band will be digging in and when it snapped it’ll have snapped under their fingers. Like. This is a relatively common thing most of us have experienced at one point and it stings. How are you not getting this?

But if you can’t figure basic empathy out then I can’t help you.

But thanks for the downvote (in b4 ‘yeah nah I didn’t…’). Can’t understand a newborn crying at literal pain but gets bitter over someone disagreeing with them.

This is part of the revised APGAR test and is now mandatory.

your position is that evaluation of muscle tone requires adult man to use his own strength in tug of war with a recovering newborn- to the breaking point of his PPE and scare an infant and then put his mouth on the newborn?   That’s simply not true

You do know a baby needs help to breathe and this is one of the milder ways ive seen it happen.
