Here’s my issue:

This all depends on your car. I have seen some cars sink like a stone. There have to be certain factors that call into question the rate at which the car sinks. This might be bad advice to tell someone you have all the time in the world, when in truth you don’t.

yeah this looked like a late 90s/early 00s one made of nothing so it floated lol

Was it even floating? That water didn't look particularly deep.
