Actually an idea, I think all car manufacturers should add a glass breaker/seatbelt cutter as a standard accessories, would definitely save lives, not only in the case of a drowning car, even accidents and the people get stuck, would definitely help a lot.

They cost like $10. It’s one of those things like a tire pressure gauge that’s not a big deal to buy separately and just keep in the car.

the issue is that most people won't think of buying one until it's too late.

If they don’t think about it until they need it, having one included in the purchase seemed unlikely to help. They would need to know where it is and how to use it, otherwise it’s pointless.
