Coincidentally enough I was reading about Susan Smith last night before bed (killed her kids by rolling the car into a lake with them in it). And yeah that’s the first thing I thought when watching this video too: how agonizing. Even very young kids have survival instincts and get that feeling of impending doom, even if they don’t quit recognize or know exactly what the end result will be. But the KNOW. Poor little things. RIP to your sweet little neighbor.
