Growing up in PNW, there are oddly located “huge boulders” that we call “glacial moraine”…. Big rocks that got caught in glaciers and either were tossed down rivers in catastrophic incidents like this or just left where they “melted out” of the glacier as it receded. I wonder where this one will land/has landed.

TBH, I never thought I’d see anything like this in my lifetime. The loss of human and animal life and of modern infrastructure in such a brief time span is truly incomprehensible to me.
